SINGING COURSES AND VOICE TRAINING, BRISTOL, UK

Are you looking for a vocal coach who really understand the human voice? You may be on the right place than.

I teach people how  to approach their vocal instrument properly to use the full potential we have been given by nature. I work with singers of all ages and genres the same as I do look after voices of actors, students of drama, leadership developers, business people or others.

I do not work with 'singing' and 'speaking' voice separately. I do work with human voice using a good knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the voice and my experience with my own voice.

I am busting the great dogma of 'tone deafness'.

Want to sing?

If you want to sing then I will initially teach you the correct vocal technique, then we will stylise your voice to fit your favourite genre. I do have personal experience with a wild range of genres also as a singer.

My experience

I have been teaching for more than 15 years and draw upon my knowledge of the physiology and anatomy of the voice as an instrument, and my personal experiences with my own voice.

My clients

include professional actors, news readers, business development and NLP trainers, and a number of singers spanning many genres. For the second year running I am working as a voice training specialist for the BTEC National Diploma in Drama at the City of Bristol College.

HIGH NOTES

It is easy to sing higher than you would have thought possible by removing the tension from your throat. Every healthy adult should be able to have a rich sounding voice over a range of about 3 octaves (excl. falsetto above it).

TONE DEAF?

Some of my respected colleagues say that about 3% of the global population is ‘tone deaf’. I prefer to say that no healthy person is tone deaf. I have great experience with busting this myth, so please let me prove you (or any-body who told you that you were ‘tone deaf’) wrong.

POWER

It is important to be able to project your voice to fill the biggest venues by a rich timbre. A more powerful voice will sound better when amplified and grab your audience’s attention.

CONFIDENCE

As a teacher with over 15 years experience of singing in front of hundreds people, I can offer you advice and a couple of tricks to help you overcome stage fright. You will be surprised at how quickly you are able to sing in front of an audience in a relaxed, confident way.

IMPROVE YOUR RANGE

With the correct technique it is easy to smoothly sing over a range of at least three octaves, whilst retaining the beauty and individuality of your naturally rich voice.

STAMINA

Using the correct technique I will work with you to ensure you are able to perform as frequently, and for as long as you like or need. Caring for your voice ensures your career won’t be cut short unnecessarily.

CLARITY

A clear voice is always a delight to listen to, whatever genre of music you prefer to perform. There is always more work that can be done to improve a pupil’s diction, freeing their voice.

PHYSIOLOGY OF THE VOICE

I am very well read in the physiology of the voice, and am happy to explain the physical process of singing as part of my lessons. My students benefit from my advanced knowledge of correct technique.
